Pediatric emergencies require special skills and understanding. Make sure you are at the top of your game when it comes to leading these types of rescues.
You will learn critical assessment and treatment skills for children experiencing cardiac emergencies, shock, and respiratory failure. This includes proficiency around intubations and obtaining vascular access in these patients.
You will be certified for two years upon successful completion.
The online/hybrid course includes all necessary materials online. You will complete didactic instruction online at your own pace before coming to UCLA for a four-hour skills instruction session.
