This is a must-have course for paramedics, nurses, respiratory therapists, and physicians. Learn how to lead and run a full arrest. We cover everything you need to know over two days: pathophysiology, pharmacology, and treatments.
You will be certified for two years upon successful completion.
The online/hybrid course includes all necessary materials online. You will complete didactic instruction online at your own pace, before coming to UCLA for a four-hour skills instruction session.

Prerequisites
This course is open to healthcare providers only, including physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and some EMTs:
• If you are a physician, paramedic, nurse, or RT you are ready to take the course.
• If you are an EMT you can enroll after completing our ACLS Prep Class, which covers ECG and basic pharmacology.
• A current BLS (CPR) certification is not required, but highly recommended for this course.
Optional Materials
If desired, you may purchase the AHA ACLS Provider Manual, item number 15-1005, from ShopCPR.
On successfully completing the course you will qualify for 4 hours of CE. The UCLA Center for Prehospital Care is an approved Continuing Education Provider for the California EMS (CEP #19-0307) and the California Board of Registered Nursing (CEP #12416).
