UCLA Health Sidewalk CPR Training
In partnership with the Los Angeles County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Agency, UCLA Health is proud to participate in the countywide Sidewalk CPR public education event. This annual initiative, held in conjunction with National CPR and AED Awareness Week (June 1–7, 2025), brings lifesaving “Hands-Only” CPR training directly to the community.
Throughout the week, UCLA Health will host FREE pop-up training sessions at various locations, giving staff, visitors, and community members the chance to learn how to perform effective bystander CPR in just a few minutes. These quick, high-impact trainings are designed to boost survival rates from sudden cardiac arrest by empowering more people to respond confidently in emergencies.
Together with LA County EMS, we’re building a stronger, more prepared community—one heartbeat at a time.
