The UCLA EMT Refresher Course combines online modules, completed at your own pace, with lecture and hands-on skills instruction to provide you the latest in patient care. The lectures are delivered by highly trained Center for Prehospital Care Faculty who will update you on the latest in EMS. Let us provide you a one-stop shop for renewing your EMT certification.

The UCLA EMT Refresher Courses offers:

• the required 24 hours of coursework to renew in the State of California.
• the option of completing additional online content to meet the 40 hours required by the National Registry, at no additional cost.
• review, practice, and sign-off on the State Skills Verification Form.
• required training in Naloxone and Epinephrine administration as well as glucometer use.

If you need additional EMT-level CE hours, consider our live online ECG & Pharmacology course, which sets you up for success in ACLS, PALS, and other advanced EMS training.

All students must complete some online education and thus must purchase the online course materials through Jones and Bartlett, found here: https://info.psglearning.com/uclaemtrefresher.

On-site attendance during all 3 days is required for course completion.
